ITINERARYS

All horse trips start in the village of Suape. They cross the area of a former sugar can plantation, whose mostly sandy ways are very suitable for extended canter. We pass maniok plantations and small agricultors houses until we finally reach the river banks of the rio Massangana. The clear stream is just right for a relaxing bath: riders and horses will appreciate the refreshment. Under the cashew trees in the restaurant of Eloi, we might rest in hammocks, order fresh coconut water, fuit juices or even a grilled fish. After an abundant break, we prepare the horses for our trip back to the village. We follow either a shorter path with less experienced riders or a longer one with more experienced guests who would like to canter a little bit more.
All trips last aproximately three hours, drinks and dishes are not included.

We offer as well whole-day-trips for experienced riders. They start in the village of Suape, cross the shugar can plantation and go on through the rain forest reaching finally the deserted beach of Paiva, where we break into a gallop before we stay for a long rest. The horses will pasture under the coconut trees while we might appreciate the beautiful waves and have a swim side by side with the local surfers - or just stay in one of the beach bars. In the afternoon, when the sun is getting weaker, we ride back - mostly on the beach at low tide, or crossing residential aereas of Enseada and Gaibu at high tide.

More itinerarys are available on request, for example leading to the historical village of Nazaré or to the beautiful bay of Calhetas.
